This is one of my favorite zoos! Well, second to the Wild Animal Park, or as they call it now, the Safari Park! Look at the adorable animals there! Isn't the koala just cute?
This sign by the lion enclosure always cracks me up when I see it! You should definitely visit the wild animal park if you like lions! One time we were there, there were some lion cubs playing around their dad, papa lion, who was napping. Guess what papa did? He woke up and roared loudly to the cubs to let him rest in peace! Haha! Another time, the cubs were a little bit grown up, they were putting on a show for all the people waiting for the safari ride! They were chasing each other and pretend pouncing on each other! It was amazing!
Here's a few more animals that you can see there. There's a lot more that you can see! Just be prepared for walking around when you visit the zoo since it is a lot of walking! They do have a bus that takes you around, but I think the walk around is nice. They do have pandas there too! I love watching the pandas there! If you're around San Diego, I highly recommend visiting the zoo and the wild animal park! Well, of course I would, I love zoos! =D
