Can you see the blowhole???

La Bufadora, Mexico

La Bufadora

That was one big blowhole! We got to view it from the water and land! We found out too that they usually bus people to this area from cruise ships stopping at Ensenada! It's a big tourist area and it was fun to walk around the market! The churros there was really good especially if it was freshly cooked and still warm!

The kayak beside the blue kayak was the one I was on for that day. The trip was fun and I looked like i knew what I was doing in the pictures... hee-hee!

Can you see the sea lion rookery?

The rookery is actually the island that looks white... We paddled over there and when we got too close, the male sea lions started barking at us!

At the Peak

Laguna Mtns San Diego, CA

Garnet Peak is an amazing place! You get sweeping views of the mountains on one side(as seen from the previous post...) and then a really nice view of Borrego Desert on the other!

We Made It!

That was one vertical hike! (Or maybe I just need to be in better shape... hehehe!) We made it though! This is a view from Garnet Peak! The views are just amazing!

On our way...

I finally found a marker that says our destination: Garnet Peak!

PCT

Laguna Mtns San Diego, CA

Now I can say that I've been on the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) even if it was for a short while... Hee-hee! The PCT starts from Canada and ends in Mexico. I heard there's a kick-off event in April in Canada for people attempting to do the whole length of the PCT.

Who would've have thought of seeing snow in San Diego? (White stuff on the ground is snow!) Well, the snow doesn't last that long here on the mountains but it sure is pretty while it lasts!
