Abu Simbel

The temples in Abu Simbel is impressive! What's even more impressive is that the temples are not in their original location but moved block by block to the current location since the original location is now flooded when Lake Nasser was created!

You can tell if a temple had Greek influence by looking at the pillars. The pillars tend to be more ornate, like the one pictured. On a side note, I can't believe I don't remember which temple is this! hee-hee! It's probably one from either, Esna or Kom-ombo... We saw this temple during the Nile cruise. =)
