Singapore
We're on our way to Sentosa Island! To get to the island, we took the cable car! The view from the platform was amazing! I've never seen so many cargo ships at sea before, like in the photo above!
Here's a few more photos from the cable car. Can you see the merlion on Sentosa Island from one of the photos?
Our first stop on the island, the underwater world!
This is the first time I saw river dolphins. And get this, they were performing! Pink dolphins! A real wow for me! I know, this isn't underwater, but it is one of the attractions of the Underwater World! =)
This isn't exactly underwater yet, but here's some photos of some of the animals I saw. Here I go again, I forgot the name of this fish! I must have been impressed by it since I took a photo! Hehe!
I loved the way this sting ray is sort of looking at you! It's like he's saying, "I'm watching you!"
Here's a photo of a big crab I saw there! It made me hungry! =D
Here's a photo from the submerged acrylic tunnel there, where you can see sharks, sting rays, moray eels, etc not just on your sides but above you too. I think this is one of the longest acrylic tunnels I've been to, although, my favorite is still the one at sea world San Diego (Shark Reef), hee-hee!
Here's some jellyfish and corals on display too.
Here's one of my favorite animals at aquariums, the sea dragons! Can you see the two types of sea dragons on the photo above? Doesn't the leafy sea dragon look like leaves? The other type of sea dragon looks like what I imagine a land dragon would look like! They're so cool! =D
Here's some photos of the merlion from one of the viewing areas on the island. The merlion here is huge! Can you see the people on top of the merlion's head? We didn't get to go up the merlions head, but I think it's close enough... Simply because we didn't get up close and personal with the original merlion on the main island! Hehe! We saw the original one, but only from the Singapore Flyer and when our tour bus passed by it. =D
We got to see the light show there too. Here's some photos of the set before the show began. What a beautiful sunset, right? =)
The light show was pretty good and the story is also not bad!
What a fitting end for the day at Sentosa Island!
