Carlsbad, CA
Where else can you find tons of Lego, Lego Land of course! Just look at some of the scenes they have recreated in Legos... Can you guess which town is recreated in the bottom photos? San Francisco! I thought it was a pretty good depiction. Can you imagine how many Legos they used to build these scenes? In the thousands, I would think!
Here's another area portrayed. Yes, that's correct, it's Hollywood, Lego style! You can see the Chinese Mann Theater and Griffith Observatory!
Here's a Mission, I just forgot which Mission is this in California... (I wouldn't know based on the layout, but then again, I've only seen 3 Missions so far... Hee-hee!)
For a little perspective on the size of the scenes recreated, here's a photo with some real people... Amazing, right?
Pretty impressive, right? They did the Strip in Las Vegas!
I think this elephant is life sized! Look at how big it is!
I finally saw Taj Mahal! In Legos, of course! Hee-hee!
Have you seen Mt Rushmore? I have, in Legos of course! Ha!
There's Washington, DC! There was a ton more places depicted there and other things but they are just all too many to mention! Let's just say I had a blast taking photos there! =) There were also rides and other things to do at Lego Land, but I guess, for an old coot like me, It was fun enough just looking at the Legos! Besides, the rides are mostly for the kiddies! Hahaha! If you have kids on the younger side, they'll enjoy Lego Land a lot!
