It's finally spring!

   
I love the carpet of blue on display when the bluebells are out! We actually came out a week too early and it was not like the photos yet! We had to come back a week later when we met someone on the trail who told us it was really beautiful there when the flowers are in bloom, which they said was going to be a week later. They were right too! Can you see both river banks covered in blue and green? Just beautiful!


   
Here's a few more photos along the bluebell trail at Bull Run Park. It's a lovely reminder of spring, isn't it? Can't wait to see the blooms again soon! It's still a little chilly outside (technically, it's spring now!) but hopefully the blooms will be out in a couple of weeks. The bluebells usually come out at about the same time as the cherry blossoms!
